CCC features innovative tools and curriculum to enhance both the teaching and learning of classical Latin and Greek.
From the beginning years of Latin through Advanced Placement, you will find curriculum that supports active learning through exciting, engaging in-class activities. Add our tools and methods to your repertoire of skills - and you will enhance and build a Latin program designed for the needs and learning styles of students in the 21st century!
CCC supports the following textbooks and syllabi: Ecce Romani (3rd and 4th editions), Fabulae Romanae, Fabulae Graecae, Balme & Morwood's Cupid and Psyche and all AP Latin syllabi. For the third year of Latin study, we offer a Reading Myth course based entirely upon readings from mythology which you can integrate as a complete course, or by mixing and matching the different modules.
Creative Classical Curriculum believes that the study of classical languages primarily serves to enable students to read the authors in the original. In order to be successful, students must master vocabulary, forms, and reading techniques (the Latin trifecta) - the CCC tools such as the Magic Lists and Reading Coaches take the processes required for reading Latin and make them visible and manageable for the student. All curriculum featured on our website aims to help students be successful in all areas of the Latin trifecta.
Support for teachers includes monthly memberships that feature "print-and-go" curriculum and activities, assessments connected tightly to the curriculum students receive, a focus on infusing technology into a Latin program, and supporting the fusion of forms mastery with effective approaches to teaching reading and translating.
